HR Assistant
The Talent Crowd are pleased to be working with an award-winning National Law Firm to recruit a HR Assistant to support their fast-paced growing ER Team
You will be responsible for organising and coordinate the activities of the ER team and will operate as first point of contact for ER queries. This is a fantastic opportunity to progress your career and join an organisation who offer CIPD funding.
Role Responsibilities

  • Inform and advise as required regarding ER policy/process
  • Manage / organise meetings as required for the ER team, including coordination and timely distribution of agenda/supporting documentation;
  • Provide accurate and timely production/distribution of minutes where required by the ER team
  • Prepare high standard documents and presentation materials as required by the ER team
  • Undertake accurate data collection, collation and analysis, producing management information and contributing to ER reports and presentations
  • Proactive diary management support to the ER team, taking into account the sensitivities involved in high level ER matters
  • To act as a focal point of contact, judging the priority of matters, dealing with the many demands of the ER team
  • Support the delivery of ER/policy information/training to stakeholders;
  • Manage low risk casework
  • Management of employee records using the HR
  • Liaise with internal teams
Skills and Experience
  • Previous experience in a HR team is desirable
  • Ability to develop a deep understanding of the operation and structure of the firm
  • Ability to develop a comprehensive understanding of ER/HR policies, UK employment legislation
  • Ability to gather, collate and analyse data
  • Excellent planning and organisation  skills
  • Proven ability to work in a team environment and to communicate effectively with a range of people at all levels
  • Excellent practical knowledge and skills in using a range of packages, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint; Internet search
  • Excellent administrative and organisational skills; ability to coordinate activities and conflicting demands across a busy team
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
