FINANCIAL CONTROLLER - £75,000 - £85,000 - REMOTE - OFFICE IN SILVERSTONE RACECOURSE AND LONDON - INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL

Imagine playing a pivotal role in a sport where precision and pace are paramount, both on and off the track.

As the Financial Controller, you will be the linchpin in a small, dynamic team, steering the financial helm and navigating through the new FIA regulations and cost caps that have come into Formula E. Your commercial acumen will propel the business forward while carefully safeguarding its assets. Additionally you'll drive your own career forward as this role promises not just a seat at the table but a chance to accelerate to the Financial Director position upon the retirement of the current incumbent next year.

The ideal candidate will possess an agile mind, capable of making swift, strategic decisions. A hands-on approach is essential, as is the willingness to dive into the details independently and the ability to build relationships at board and investor level. Your expertise will not only shape the team's financial strategies but also contribute directly to the thrill of race day success.

This role is tailored for those who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are eager to apply their knowledge to the electrifying world of Formula E racing. With a generous remuneration package, reflective of the expertise brought to the team, the financial rewards and the benefits match the high-octane nature of the industry.

The position offers the flexibility of remote working, with the expectation of a fortnightly visit to the state-of-the-art facilities in Silverstone and likely a quarterly meeting in London. Moreover, it includes the unique perk of international travel, attending race meets around the globe, immersing oneself in the heart-pounding world of electric motorsport.

Candidates should possess a robust financial background, with qualifications to match, and a track record of commercial success. Experience in navigating complex regulations and managing budgets within tight constraints will be highly regarded.

If you are ready to take the lead in a role that combines financial mastery with the adrenaline of motorsport and you're ambitious to make a mark in the racing or sporting industry.
